Yesterday was Eric's birthday! We took a lovely road trip to Milwaukee where it was switching between hail and torrential rain the whole day. We went to a lovely museum! The art was really cool and soo interesting. Then we went to what has been voted Milwaukee's favorite cafe for like the past three years. It was amazing, we at a burrito and drank chai while playing old maid and crazy 8s (presents I gave to Eric for his birthday). We then moved on to Milwaukee Ale House. We played free pool and drank awesome beers brewed there with love and care! We had a most amazing black bean burger topped with fresh mozzarella, basil and tomatoes, and a cucumber dressing. We also had a cup of their chili. YUMZ. We went from there to Potawatomi casino. It was the first time either of us had been to a casino. I played the slot machines and Eric tried his hand at black jack. We lost some money and then left to see what Milwaukee's Murphy's Irish pub looks like. We played some more pool and drank some Milwaukee beer. We also ate some popcorn before heading out to our final destination. Miss Katie's for karaoke! After both of us singing we headed home in clear weather. It was such a wonderful day :D
