Red Rocks Amphi

We went to see an Incubus concert at this place called Red Rocks Amphitheater just outside of Denver. The place was beautifully built into the mountain, with a view of Denver in the background.
Below is what it looked like from out seats.
This was to the left...
and this was to the right... awesome lighting.
The moon came up over the city as the concert went on.
This is the walkway down after the concert. Filled with people and glowing in the night.

Colorado Vacation part un

So I am going to be uploading my pictures (and writing included deets) in increments of five, and details to go with those pictures. So while this may seem an arduous or tedious process, this way it won't be so daunting and will actually be accomplished. awce.

So this is a picture of the buttes (pronounced B-you-ttes) in the Pawnee National Grassland. It was undeniably lovely there.

This is a picture of a bunny rabbit we saw on our hike back from exploring the buttes. He lives under that rock. I'm not sure how but then again I don't really understand that sort of thing.

The full moon was intense that night!

Although totally amazing it was challenging getting to this place. The GPS did not recognize the roads, there was no visitor map, or visitor center, no campsite, and we had to drive on these crazy dusty country roads. They were at least lined with sunflowers! How pretty!!!

In the author we trust

I'm under the strict belief that good and bad are subjective, best, better and things like that are only valid for whatever value one personally assigns them, and that chaos is just as valuable as harmony

response:
-i feel like that philosophy makes total sense given our tiny size in comparison to the immense world
-because we can't see our place anymore than the syllables in a poem understand the rhyme
-so chaos and harmony are indistinguishable
-but i believe in an author

"Chaos is the wind beneath our feet"

"trying to understand makes living impossible"

"Beauty is being in harmony with what you are"
