let's call it respect.

I think we need to start something new. Being an adult is no longer marked by the divider of getting married and getting a career job, the line is so much harder to see, and when am I supposed to start taking care of myself, and acting like I deserve the respect I demand? Sometimes I think 'can't we go back to when things were classy, we called people Mister, and sir and had etiquette?' Then I realize women basically had no rights and were thought of as completely incompetent back in those days, people were openly and acceptably racist and maybe things weren't so good. So why not start something new. Where people respect others and use manners, where teenagers start to take responsibility for themselves, and children aren't kept in safety bubbles. Why did a turn towards equality turn into equal disrespect for everyone?

Respectfully yours
